The one-piece slip-on frock is shaped with flattering pin tucks across the front waist and around the hips of the skirt. The asymmetric side panels are cut on the straight of the fabric, but lay on the bias when sewn to the skirt for flattering drape.
The front and back necklines of the bodice are cut into a low 'V'.
This frock may be cut from white silk crepe with a fire red silk flower placed at the shoulder for stunning contrast!
The bodice and skirt may also be cut from crepe-backed silk satin in prints or solids, silk taffetas, faille, silk jacquards and lace.
The bodice may also be cut to contrast in silk crepe matelasse or crepe.

4-1/2 yards of 45" wide fabric without nap are required for the size 18 frock and 4-3/4 yards of 45" fabric without nap are required for the size 40 bust.
