1931 Evening Frock E30-5918
E30-5918; 1931 Evening Frock
4-piece pattern originally by Pictorial Review; From its twisted shoulder straps to floor-length skirt, this gown is as regal as can be. The shaped décolletage, the beautifully manipulated pointed seams and the fullness at center, front and back all give height.
This pattern is for the more advanced sewer as instructions are very basic and lightly illustrated, they are not depicted in a step-by-step manner.
Recommended fabrics are: Silk or rayon crepe, satin or sheers, such as georgette or heavy chiffon, metallic or lace.
3/8" seams are given.
Please keep in mind this style was issued as a petite pattern, so the length of the overall garment is shorter than standard womens' size vintage patterns of the 1930's.
