In a sort of Advents-Kalendar way, I will post 'red' for each day of December
through Christmas and link the image as closely as possible to EvaDress Patterns (in pattern tour form)!
Here is the eighteenth, not unlike floral print holiday paper, a long day dress I made from Excella's circa 1934 Evening Gown pattern, 3494:
7-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Excella, The evening gown can be cut sleeveless or long sleeve with cut-away shoulders. There is also an option for cutting the back in a deep scoop, or higher square neckline. This pattern only has text instructions for construction and illustrated finishing details are given. 3/8" seam allowance is given.
