1944 House Shirtwaist D40-1199
D40-1199; 1944 House Shirtwaist
9-piece digitally-drafted pattern originally by Simplicity, all 'wrap-arounded' in red and green, how 'bout this sweet little shirtwaist dress (for any occasion really)!
'The dress, fitted with darts at front (and back) waistline and underarm, is seamed down the center back. A large patch pocket trims the front and the belt buttons in back.
Style I has a very brief sleeve and is finished with self-ruffling.
Style II is trimmed with rick-rack. The sleeves are short.'
I LOOOOVE the ruffle version!
3/4" seams are given at underarm (all side) seams and 1/2" seams are given on all other edges.
