21-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Butterick for the set of five hats.

SUGGESTED FABRICS: Views A and A-1: Taffeta, Satin, Silk Crêpe, Ribbed Silks, Alpaca, Velveteen, Sheer or Light Weight Wools, Linen, Novelty Cottons, Metallic in plain, printed or novelty fabrics.

Views B, B-1, C, C-1, D, D-1, and E: Any fabric suggested except metallic.  Also, similar textures in rayon or other synthetic fabrics.

3/8" seams are given.

Head size 22".  Measure your head with a cloth dressmaker’s tape about ½” above your eyebrows where the hat will rest.  If you are without a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure it against a yard stick.  Err on the larger size if your measurement is not exact.  See diagram.
