1933 Coats, C30-4709

$ 17.00

C30-4709; 1933 Coats

11-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Butterick, This is the new short coat style that caused a 'Hullabaloo' according to Sears Catalogue of 1933!

This style is cut in either of two lengths, with underarm gore and three styles of collars (which can be used for remodeling fur coat).  It makes me think of the one Ginger Rogers wore in George Stevens' Swing Time when singing 'A Fine Romance' with Fred Astaire.

3/4" seams are given at shoulder and underarm (side) seams and 3/8" seams are given on all other edges.

Size:

Size 16 fits 34" bust, 28" waist, 37" hip.

PATTERN NOT IN YOUR SIZE? I am happy to furnish an additional schematic showing where to adjust the pattern pieces with instructions on how to go about it upon request.
