E30-8212; 1935 Molyneux Dinner Gown
7-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by McCall, According to April 1935 McCall Style News: 'Capeln Molyneux designed this exquisitely simple frock. Use ribbon for the sash and side pieces if you are pressed for time.' The front and back are cut on one with the sleeve for kimono construction.
As captioned in an original 1935 McCall pattern booklet head-lined, 'SOMETHING NEW UNDER THE STARS', 'BIG PRINTS on dark crepe make the simplest dress quite elaborate enough.
