6-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Butterick, an early 1920's rendition of the Japanese Kimono for the home sewist.
By the early 1900's, the Japanese kimono became popular in Europe as an alternative garment to the Tea Gown. By the 20th century, the kimono had well entered the American fashion scene worn as a Dressing Gown.
3/8" seams are given.
