Alexandra Reynolds'La Petite Mode EvaDress' continues with the multi-size range progress I've made on the 1930's Evening Gown and Bolero pattern: I am working this one up in a range of sizes to fit 32" to 46" bust. Here is the petite model in the sleeveless gown with low V-back version. I created it in silk satin organza with a little horsehair in the hem to demonstrate the fullness of the skirt. I also added silk organza rose buds, as a loose inspiration from Lanvin's 1937 gown! I plan to unveil my 'dream creation' from this pattern when I have the multi-size...

Alexandra Reynolds7 years ago this month, I first launched 'La Petite Mode EvaDress'. La Petite Mode EvaDress is a series of scale models sewn from EvaDress Patterns. The models demonstrate viable high fashion which was originally available to the home sewer of early-to mid-20th century via commercial patterns. I gleaned inspiration for this series from Le Théâtre de la Mode.
