Projects may not be started earlier than 12:01 a.m. EST on September 15, 2018 although a muslin for fitting may be created any time before the challenge kick-off date. No purchase necessary to enter, so EvaDress patterns from stash are fair game! The closing date to submit projects is 11:59p.m. EST on November 15, 2018. To enter submissions, join the FaceBook EvaDress pattern Challenge page here.
The better the garment is fit, the higher consideration for placing as a finalist.
All who complete a submission to this challenge will automatically be entered in a drawing to win the next new multi-size pattern, the 1930 dress, jacket, slip and hat ensemble (shown in this event cover photo). One drawing entry will be granted per finished submission and entrants are permitted to enter as many projects, as desired. There are also TWO more ways to be entered into the drawing to win this new pattern: Sign up to be on my e-mail update list (those who are already on the list will automatically be entered into the drawing) and/or purchase a pattern for this challenge. This means you can be entered at least up to three times. Post on the event wall the pattern(s) you will use to create a submission so you may be entered into the drawing.
Depending on the number of entries, a few finalists will be selected based on quality of construction (construction detail shots are a must), accuracy to the challenge guidelines and overall design with projects remaining devout to the original pattern style lines.
One top finalist will receive a $100 non-expiring gift certificate good toward total purchase (with tax and/or shipping) at EvaDress Patterns.
Lauren Maringola will join the challenge as a guest juror! See her here at:http://
Projects submitted to other group pattern challenges are welcome, provided they are made with EvaDress Patterns and otherwise fit into the challenge parameters and time frame stated here.
The top finalist will be notified on the event wall by 11:59p.m. EST, November 18, 2018.
NOTE: By entering this challenge you agree that your submission photos/descriptions may be used in the gallery on the EvaDress web site or elsewhere as promotional material (including print) for EvaDress.
Once you are a part of this group, you can enter by posting your main photo on this page. Add subsequent high quality project photos (longest edge of photo to be 11” and at least 150dpi) including front, back, side views and construction/design details in the comments section under your main photo. Be sure to write what pattern you used, why you chose the decade you did and what you consider so fabulous about the design! If you do not use Facebook, I am happy to post your submission via your e-mail containing photos and description as outlined above.
Feel free to e-mail me with questions. Questions may also be posted here or on my Facebook EvaDress Patterns wall.
This challenge is void where prohibited.
