The shorts are pleated at center front and back with halter attached at front. 1/2" seams are given. On the page for this pattern, you will see a photo from a costumer showing this halter top made into a separate blouse and accompanying the wide leg trousers from pattern NL30-1241. When I made my set from this pattern, I did not stitch the halter top to the front of the shorts waistband, as instructed. I rather finished the shorts waistline and the lower edge extension of the halter...

I have given recommendation in the yardage chart as to sourcing patterns for these parts. There are also no provisions for the bat headdress.I have rated this pattern advanced as it is very technically challenging. Technical abilities are required in corsetry, mitering double or single bias binding, knife-pleating, armature, draping and glove-making.
